I am livid with his insinuation that the US and the Iraqi's need to adher to the Geneva Convention. When did we not adher to the Geneva standards? Kofi is talking about the emissions inspections. He plans to take over the post in Maryland that makes sure all Maryland cars have their cars tested. It is obvious Kofi is practicing for his new job since the UN has shown itself as irrelvant.

If the Administration is smart, frozen Iraqi assets as well as French-Iraqi contract payments that supported WMD development will be used to finance the war so that it is expenditure-neutral for the US government. That will protect the size of the tax cut, which is essential.

Absent the chutzpah to do this, use a portion of the Iraqi oil revenues to repay the Treasury for the war.

And further: NO CONTRACTS TO GERMANY OR IRAQ TO REBUILD IRAQ. ALL US OR BRITISH ENGINEERING, TECHNOLOGY AND OIL SERVICE FIRMS.
