I think we'll do the inspections, probably with some international observers. And we'll end the Oil For Food program ourselves when we feel like it.

If the Administration is smart, frozen Iraqi assets as well as French-Iraqi contract payments that supported WMD development will be used to finance the war so that it is expenditure-neutral for the US government. That will protect the size of the tax cut, which is essential.
Absent the chutzpah to do this, use a portion of the Iraqi oil revenues to repay the Treasury for the war.
And further: NO CONTRACTS TO GERMANY OR IRAQ TO REBUILD IRAQ. ALL US OR BRITISH ENGINEERING, TECHNOLOGY AND OIL SERVICE FIRMS.
Enough is enough.

I think we'll do the inspections, probably with some international observers.According to FNC, we have teams of pre-selected scientists, coalition military, and former UN inspectors (the ones who were actually trying to find things in the past), along with embedded reporters, waiting to move in with mobile testing labs when it's safe to do so. Since the teams are composed largely of civilians, we can't put them in harm's way prematurely, since we know how the Iraqi loyalists respect civilian lives (not).
