Heh, Mudboy, I was there! What a show, especially Mr. Patrick Henry. Have to admit the Barbershop group hit a few sour notes with their song selection, especially when they sang "Let there be peace on earth." Seems they avoided the patriotic songs totally.

The warm up act of kids singing their hearts out was beautiful. Beck was ok, not a real fan, but am thankful he went to the trouble.

The passion with which he [Mr. Henry] delivers the entire speech, parts of which are pleas to God, give me goosbumps all over again. I thought it was powerful inside St. John's church, but with that huge sound sysem yesterday, well, it leaves me speechless.

Mr. Henry, we must devise a way to get yesterday's reenactment out to the people.

The WRVA video idea was a good one, but an even better venue would be in DeeCee once Glenn Beck's folks get that Rally organized!! If we put the same 10,000 PRO-America folks in the DeeCee Mall, there's no way C-SPAN could avoid televising the whole event "LIVE!!"

If it does work out and Beck does come to Washington, I hope he keeps the rally "corny" just like yesterday's. You remember he said he was a corny guy and I don't want him to change anything because he'd be in D.C. People crave authenticity and a September 10 America and sometimes when people come here they think slick and plastic is what's desired. Keep it Norman Rockwell's America as was the rally in Richmond. And you know I quote him when I use the term "corny" and I consider it a term of endearment. There's always someone who'll think it's a criticism, and I consider it an utmost compliment.
