Well said....my daughter and I bawled in the car on the way to her school this morning....I would not allow her to see the pictures of our dead, but just hearing about them made her cry. War is never easy, we cry for our dead and their families as if they were our own family for they gave their lives for our freedom and yet they did not know me and my daughters. My thoughts and prayers as well as the thoughts & prayers of my daughters go out to those families. They understand more than anyone as their dad (my ex husband) is in the military...he's not their yet, just got back from their last year, but all things are subject to change. WE WILL PREVAIL...turn your "unease" into anger & resolve towards the regime of Iraq.

Nope, I will be thrilled. I have seen these types of stories before, ones that shoot high, then fail to live up to the "hype". I hope that the soon to be arriving chem-bio team proves me wrong.
To: yukong
Well, it's both, yuk....however there has to be salt mines in a country before it can be "processed" at the plants...do a "google" search on "salt mines +Iraq" see what you find! *giggles*
Remember....power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely!!!!

I have a question...is Christine Ampour working for Al Jazzar now???? She sure acts like it! Oh yes, one of the biggest stock holders in CNN is a Saudi. Hmmmmmmmmm, a little bias in reporting???????

How can the Pentago be backpeddeling? The Pentagon never made the claim the first was a chemical weapons plant.... troops on the ground may have echoed to their reporter things, but the Pentagon never officially said one way or another to my knowledge on it yet.
To: woofer
Yes, indeedy. GMTA! Maybe you and I should start a lying-a** PR firm for some scuzzball gov't? (JUST kidding...)

Cat...it's ok to be skeptical until all reports are in, but don't chastize Travis...I'm sure he's seen his share of "baby food plants" that have been something different. The Iraqi regime does NOT think like we do...they disguise things as all different things. I'm not saying it is or it isn't....but Seals have seen things we will NEVER hear about, and ya know....I don't think we need to know everything about special ops. God Bless our special ops who risk their lives even in "peace" time and do so without glory other than their own personal glory they bask in in private. Love ya guys! You Rock!!!!!

Again, I refer you to my comment to Cat...you could be right...but I would trust a Navy Seal's gut feeling over a reporter's.

Yeah. The general is interesting as well.
Seems he might have been suffering from a little communication problem, huh?
Perhaps his cell phones weren't working for some reason, and he was under the impression that he and his chems were safe.
Right.
