Dear Heavenly Father,

We pray our strongest prayer of intersession over these soldiers who have been captured by our foes.

¹ Rescue them, O LORD , from evil men; protect them from men of violence, ² who devise evil plans in their hearts and stir up war every day. ³ They make their tongues as sharp as a serpent's; the poison of vipers is on their lips.

¹² I know that the LORD secures justice for the poor and upholds the cause of the needy. ¹³ Surely the righteous will praise your name and the upright will live before you.

Uncle has been good enough to list the POWs that we know at this point. I just saw an appeal for prayer for Shoshawna Johnson from her aunt, a veteran herself of 20 years service, for prayer in unison for her niece at noon eastern standard time. I will try to give a special moment at that time for this brave young service woman in answer to that particular appeal and ask that others join me in-place as your time allows.
