Gen. Franks said he started to tell a joke in answer to the question about the latest Saddam video... betchya it was an Elvis joke!

He said he didn't even watch it. Must mean it's entirely irrelevant to his concerns. Hmmm.

Speaking of media squashing, I'm 14 hours ahead of EST, so when I went to bed last night that bizarre "shot down pilot" Iraqi "reality TV" was on. Woke up to the awful Al Jezeera video and focus was on that today. Was anything else ever said about that Iraqi media circus of shooting up a river and burning the reeds by the Tigris?

Tommy is such a re-assuring, calming person to listen to as I head to bed. The reporters are NOT, but listening to him smack them down is worth it. ;)
