Does anybody know the Aussie stats on war opinion? I read that now that the war's started, support for the war has gone from approx. 50% to 70%.

"Why come to the academy awards when the world is in such turmoil? Because art is important. because you believe in what you do. you want to honor it- it is a tradition that needs to be upheld. At the same time there is a lot of problems in the world...since 911 a lot of pain and now with the war a lot of pain. Families losing people. God bless them." Nichole Kidman

I read that now that the war's started, support for the war has gone from approx. 50% to 70%. She must know that. Very classy and almost brought me to tears with that Mom and daughter bit.

I didn't have enough of an angst deficit to watch that one.
To: Kaslin
Moore crap.
To: Gunder
With the exception of that film, Denzel has kept out of the political fray...at least publicly. That's why I still watch his films.
...He knows which side his bread's buttered on.

Dianne Lane was absolutely thrilled that the Slob won for his fictitious Columbine. She can stuff it.

Chair or some bigwig with the academy just wished our troops godspeed and come home soon and to the iraqi people, let's have peace soon so you can live without war.
To: T Lady
Actually, "John Q" wasn't a terrible film. But I knew the pro-universal health care message was on the way from the moment the opening credits rolled.

What do you mean he was there....What, did he do, get up and run to the telephone..the thing is still on. I saw and heard what I heard, and that's all that matters is what was heard on the TV and on tape forever.
