O'Toole is thankful for all the US has given him, professionally and personally, friends and opportunity. VERY classy!

Heh.... maybe, but I saw more stunned silence among the recognizable and heard more booing than cheering. I was heartened, but I like to see the sunny side of things.

Peter O'Toole is now giving his acceptance speech for the honorary Oscar.

...That's just great...give 'em an award when they're either on their way to the grave, or already in it. Makes no sense.

Unlikely. Seat fillers are usually wannabe actors. Why shoot themselves in the foot before they're out of the gate?

He probably agrees with them 100%. The swill could take their cues from him and behave.

Love that music, and that movie. I pray I never have to hear of Branagh's political leanings!

Thank God for a classy Gentleman.

Thank God I don't have to stop watching Lawrence of Arabia. It's bad enough I can't watch O Brother Where Art Thou? anymore thanks to Looney George Clooney.
