EXCELSIOR! SEMPER FI! UP UP AND AWAY!! What an outstanding way to start 2003! GO GO GO!!We are almost in the top 500 (think "Fortune 500"). I can hardly wait to see our stats for tomorrow after all the exposure FR must be getting this weekend from Patriot Rallies. Give yourselves a solid pat on the back and a hearty "HUZZAH toast" all.

Take a bow Jim and family. Do you remember at the "Count the Silverware Party" in DC January 2001 when I said we were "going to turn it up a notch." I bet you thought I was just inebriated from evicting the Klinton Krowd. I was, but that's beside the point - I'm certainly glad to see FR turned-up! Thank you.

Wet noodle alert--As of this moment FR is at 1093 and Salon at 723.

However, 99% of FReepers are actually learning something while 99% of Salon browsers are merely reinforcing their ignorance.

Here's a better look at Salon's suicidal plunge from a $15 stock to a little wisp of a thing now valued at slightly less than 1/2 of a penny.

The only reason Solon ever recieved so many hits is because AOL treated them like a reputable scource. In realty it has always been a joke.
Way to go FREEPERS!

Salon is worse than the French. However, we need not get too excited over this data. As I understand it from an earlier thread Alexa, is sorta spyware you download, and then they track where you go.

Many conservatives won't put up with that invasion of their privacy so the FreeRepublic numbers are underreported if anything. (To be fair, some liberals might object to others knowing they are look at the soft porn over at Salon.)
