I can't even begin to imagine what their poor families are going through.

Start bombing populated area and whole world will go against you.

I think you're right. If we have a 'My Lai' incident, the world WILL forget about this POW incident, and only remember what the 'evil' U.S. did to the 'poor innocent civilians'. They'll have a point if we deliberately target civilians, but the important thing is that Iraq will, once again, get off the hook. I think that's why Iraq did this -- to bait us.

It is being broadcast on Al-Jazeera, CNN's fellow propaganda machine for the middle east.

While Rumsfeld was on "Meet the Press" this morning, he stated that Iraqi civilians working around dual purpose facilities (Civilian and military) should stay home and not go out.

I got the impression Iraqi TV may not be around very long.

Doesn't Saudi Arabia own Al Jazeera? Why would they risk something like this?

It's a tough call but what do you do; put a higher value on an Iraqi civilian's life over one of our grunts? You make the call. I already have morally in my life.

You're right it's a tough call. But like that Muslim man who ripped into the ditzy anti-war protestor on that radio show (posted somewhere recently) said: "There will be deaths from this war. Some civilians will be killed, but there will be far less killed in this short time of war than would be if Sadam were left in power."

People who do not accept that man is fallen and sinful, cannot accept that "peace" among nations is forever elusive in this world. They cannot accept war, let alone the fact that war demands the deaths of innocents. I am not one of those people.

I just saw a video clip of the executed soldiers. Yes they were executed, all shot in the head.
I demand the elimination of Tikrit right now.

I stand corrected .He is known for torture and rape ,forced confessions and parading prisoners. Then there's human shields he's used.If that didn't enflame the world nothing will. I'm so ANGRY.I think I'll go watch a peace protest and go ahead and have the stroke I'm courting.

"The world turns against Iraq."

I doubt it; but AMERICA will turn against Iraq, that's the important thing.

I hope so. Earlier this week, the father of one of the pilots lost in the first helo crash, did not blame the Iraqis for the cause, but President Bush. Ignored was the fact that his son made a conscious decision to join the military and potentially be placed in harm's way. The father's lament was as much the product of not only his sadness, but the leftist politicians and the media.

First of all, I don't watch movies. Second, I was just asking a question. I wasn't trying to be critical. After living in the Middle East and seeing this type violence first hand, I personally would not allow myself to taken prisoner.

Exactly. The quickest way to end this war is to kill as many Iraqi soldiers as possible.

Very disturbing. Our resolve if firm. We will disarm and crush the Iraqi regime.

God bless our troops and give their family comfort.

I think the fights in Umm Quesr were Saddam's internal security forces or even Republican Guards. Not ordinary civiliams fighting.

I agree that how we take Baghdad is unclear. We might not. Just take 95% of the country and take our time.

Jim Mic on NBC seems to indicate that Pentagon confirms report that POW video is legit and people were executed.

Fox reporting all bodies on the tape they've seen "have been executed; shot in the head."

I feel for the families. However, I disagree in not showing the video of this. Propaganda is a necessary part of war. At the next "peace" rally, I say put up a large Jumbotron screen and show this, show the people jumping from the World Trade Center, show the Daniel Perle killing.

Make this seditionists face reality.
