Sacramento Rally for America: Report

It was a spirited rally at the west steps of the California State Capitol. The crowd size was estimated at about 3,500 folks from all walks of life. Good speeches, music, signs and lots and lots of flags! There were zero pro-Saddam protesters in evidence.

I got my boyfriend to videotape the event while I manned the donations booth. I captured a short clip of a chat he had with a sweet Vietnamese lady. You can find it here http://www.angelfire.com/80s/enhs87/sacrally3-22.html She's a little hard to understand at times,but basically she says something to the effect of "I can't speak good English, but I love USA. USA very good, three million Vietnamese died in war, Communism is no good. That's why I came here to stand with you guys to make a stronger USA, for freedom... no where better USA... that's why I stand here today." It's a little slice of the rally that I didn't see in the news media.
