Sacramento Rally for America: Report

It was a spirited rally at the west steps of the California State Capitol. The crowd size was estimated at about 3,500 folks from all walks of life. Good speeches, music, signs and lots and lots of flags! There were zero pro-Saddam protesters in evidence.

It took me 15 minutes to e-mail 4 TV stations, Two papers and 4 news radio stations. Same e-mail cut and paste.

Some media outlets want you to use a form on their web-site.

You can be certain that they are getting mail from the LOUD minority.

We must oppose the Anarchist and Urban Terrorist.

Remember they have a Freedom to speak....

There actually was a group of about 4 pro-saddam a-holes, but we all chanted "go back to France" at them! It was an awesome rally. I have yet to see any of it on our local news station however.

Mrs Drango and SeenTheLight were also in attendance along with about 10 others from the Bay Area. I'm not gonna name 'em all, 'cause I'll be sure to miss someone!

We were there!!! We were just to the right of the lady who was with the Vietnam POW!!! Probably four people to her left... or the right of her in the photo. We looked everywhere for a Freeper sign. We looked for a freeper booth. I just got an e-mail today.. saying to go to the Patriots booth and ask for Farmfriend :o(

It was an awesome rally. Brought tears to our eyes.

Also.. we think people are staying away from the rallies for fear of anti-war people. But if we don't get out and show up for these rallies.. they WIN even more!! Its bad enough that they get so much press.. when they are in the minority!!

Dang.. wish we could have met all of you. If you have any pics that span to that ladies right.. I can point out who we were!

BTW.. Our car broke down in the K Street Mall. We had to get it towed..and get a loaner. But we waited until AFTER the rally!! :o)

BTW.. we took pics.. but we did it with one of those disposable camera's. (We have a hard time moving into the 21st century!! :o)

This time I had to miss it. We ate "Trench Fries" and wished our neighbors across the road well as they headed the 50 miles to the rally.

We listened to Mark Williams M.C. and had listened to Tom Sullivan's NATIONAL program all morning talking about the up-coming rally in Sacto! We heard Mark invite comwatch up to the podium at the end of his 2 hour show. Stupendous!!!

Believe it or not, the Sacramento rally made the local news in Los Angeles at around 6 p.m. tonight!!!!!

I was there. I was at the corner of the Patriot Watch Booth. I was holding the canopy down so it wouldn't fly away. I had a flag in a blue box flag stand. Comwatch did a great job. We had a very diverse group of speakers including a brother from the Black Republicans, a Latino immigrant who lived under Noriega. There was a woman from Russia and South Vietnamese vet. I saw more ethnic faces in that crowd than I have watching the peacenix in SF.
