Freepers News! WE WON! Today's Rally at West Street Plaza in Reno turned into a march. We marched to the Federal Building and TOTALLY overwhelmed the war-protesters.

Excellent effort, Reno FReepers! Just so you know, the Chicagoland Pro-America rally turnout out-numbered the anti-American crowd by about 3 to 1 today!!! Yippee! Score a big day for the good guys!

But the traitorous MSNBC skunks did a 2-minute summary of todays events and called it "AMERICA PROTESTS" They devoted 80% of the coverage to the anti-war scum.
To be expected until the enemy at home is also defeated.

I saw the footage of you guys rocking the Anti-Bushies world at work tonight. (I guess I should say I work at KOLO, so I saw it sans bias from my coworkers) Great job and I wish I could have been there to see it.

Just a word of encouragement for your efforts...do not allow the media to damper your enthusiasm. The 'silent majority' is becoming more and more vocal, we are behind our troops and not afraid to show it or to be intimidated into silent complacency again.

This is great. We need to be heard!! :)

He said that the #1 reason most people are coming out to the streets in support of our troops is that people are getting sick and tired of all the anti-war rally coverage. That's the very same thing I've been hearing over and over again at the last two rallies we attended... and I always hear this from "average" citizens who aren't even aware of Free Republic. YES, FReepers... we're making some NOISE out there! :-) Exactly! We went to a Veterans Rally in Venice, FL today that was billed as non-partisan so we left our signs in the car trunk....but then we went back & got them when we saw so many others with signs along with all the flags.
After the Program of speeches & patriotic music (we even sang "God Bless the USA" twice) about 30 people spontaneously went out along busy Rte 41 to demonstrate in support of the troops.
Of course I told them about FR and I now have an email list of local people who want to meet and demonstrate again next Sunday! They are really motivated.
A TV camerwoman who had been at the Rally came out to the road to take video of us. I think the media is getting lots of complaints about all the peacenik coverage and is now looking for some pro America footage to balance out their reporting.
