Ugh. I just heard they arrested the soldier. I think I hear Tommy Franks at my door getting ready to burst my bubble with a pin. Maybe I won't answer the doorbell.

"A grenade and gunfire attack injured 10 American soldiers at the 101st Airborne Division's camp in Kuwait early Sunday, U.S. military officials said."

If this was the work of a United States soldier...

In WWII he would have been shot by firing squad after a rapid courtmartial.

I've read the SAME thing you have! However, I also heard the two reporters on the scene on t.v. and NEITHER one mentioned gunfire! That's all I'm saying. Lou Dobbs heard gunfire as he was disconecting from the guy at the scene, but it turned out to be coming from the Baghdad feed. There very well may have been grenades and shots fired, but I'd bet the shots were fired at the person(s) as they ran away.

Do military courts have the ability to hand out the death penalty?

They (MSNBC) report one of our soldiers is under arrest. Bet he's wishing he was a casualty.
Could sabotage have played a role in the helicopter crash that killed, among others, the young man from Baltimore who's dad is a converted Muslim?

As it should be.

One of the many reasons I'm unable to stomach DU is because of the foul language.

I just got in the soldier was arrested? A traitor ?

A traitor or somebody who got a 'Dear John' letter and thought they would take their problems out on somebody else. I mention the last, because if it was a traitor, I would think they would do something bigger or something more subtle. We shall see. Too many rumors flying. This just seems like a spur of the moment thing.
