I watched Fox naturally last night, but my husband and i switched to CNN just for kix to see how they were handling it. We couldn't stand it more than two minutes. Cnn was so disorganized and chaotic in their coverage. Whereas Fox had it all together and their reporters "in the field" were easier to hear. Plus my husband liked the red-white-blue colors of Fox (said they were more patriotic than Cnn's orange-red-black color scheme).

Save yourself some agony. Next time you get the urge to turn from Fox News to CNN, simply turn the TV off.

With all of CNN's attempts to reorganize their programming to increase viewership, you would think they would can Judy Woodworth who clearly cannot help but show her contempt for all things American.

Fox has just tromped CNN and "cack" ABC. MSNBC is a close second to FOX, but FOX is definately on the side of America, thank God.

doing the channel surf here also....CNN reports in the middle of the night were not all that bad, MSNBC also not bad. Female reporters on all stations seems to be doing more worrying than anything else. Just give me the facts not your feelings as you sit in the studio. Just wish FOX would have more info on some other units in the field, that s the only reason I surf, looking for more on the 101st

Accidentaly caught a part of Jenning's coverage last night-was looking to entertain mr. uvular with America's Funniest Videos. There's Peter, talking to David Gergen, commiserating over how WH had not intended to have to use 'shock and awe' if the Wednesday night's bombing had been successful! Where the Bleep did they get info from??
Ticked me off for the rest of the night, along with going to Wal-Mart, and CNN on all the ceiling tvs-grrr.

Some Freepers' remarks about CNN's war coverage .
CNN hyping dead civilians is just their way of calling our soldiers "Baby Killers".
PUPPIES!! WHAT ABOUT THE PUPPIES!!!?
What about the kittens who died and the wittle puppy with the boo-boo on his wittle paw?
Awaiting reports on the environmental degradation caused by the strikes...
CNN Reports Baghdad Sea World was hit in the intial strike killing an endangered species, the gay whale.
Can we get any info on the baby seals? I shall light a candle, make a quilt, and visualize whirled peas.
Baghdad bombed...women and minorities hit hardest.
Forty missiles and only one child hit?!! We need to upgrade our baby-seeking guidance technology!

Saw Ollie North interviewing a Marine commander.......and he pointed out that he had been told point blank that the ONLY channel watched by our guys over there is Fox News Channel. Period.

Peter Jennings is so-o-o- bummed-out and depressed...The lethargic Jennings looks and acts as though he has lost his best friend -- seeming as though he's ready to break down and cry...
It may very well be upon having to report the news that Saddam was seen carried away in a stretcher.
Isn't it time Jennings met Rather's same fate a few years back (What's the frequency, Kenneth?) and was given a few backhands?

As a broadcaster myself, it's quite amusing and frankly embarassing to see my cousins at the networks so bummed because we are WINNING and there is NOT these huge losses of civilian life and loss of coalition forces like was predicted before the start of hostilities. Their demeanor would be quite the opposite if this was turning out to be harder than it's been so far. And THAT is twisted.

Fox either needs to drop the stupid banner or have the camera man put duct tape over the bottom 1/3 of the camera. I know what station I am watching and I know what time it is. What I do not know is what is going on under the banner. Pictures of grey sky do not get awards.
