The Iraqi government on Saturday urged the United Nations Security Council to stop the US-led war on Iraq "unconditionally" and "immediately."
The call was made by Iraqi Foreign Minister Naji Sabri in a letter to the president of the Security Council. The letter described the war as "aggression and invasion" of Iraq from the United States, Britain and Australia.

The UN and what army?
No Tobin tax. No standing UN army. No tribute to any body that held the Durban Conference.
The English speaking West is pretty patient, but there are just so many times we will bend over and take it.

Don't laugh. If we had gotten our precious follow-up resolution it would have strings attached all over it.

Forget the U.N., Iraq! You'll have better luck taking your plea to the League of Nations! I hear they're anxious to re-build their reputation after that little mistake regarding Italy and Ethiopia...

"You would think these guys would be intimately familiar with how useless the U.N. is... " You would think. Maybe that fact is just too obvious.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Tell them the UNSC will get back to him in 12 years.
