"We understand that we were not on vacation, but it was unacceptable the way we were treated," said a protester who gave her name as Pancetta, 24, of BerkeleyBrilliant deduction!!! Club Med it isn't.

RE: Your photo in #17 above...
That perp appears to be from a privileged background.
Notice his teeth?
Perfect.
Someone, probably a hardworking father and/or mother, sacrificed to pay for orthodontia.
And how does this this spoiled brat punk say "thanks"?
The ingrate has the nerve to disrespect his country and his flag, dishonoring his parents and the men before him who had their blood shed so he could grow up in peace and privilege.

Last time I checked, jail was supposed to be, at least somewhat, unpleasant.

You couldn't write stuff this funny about the Peace Protestors if you tried.
For humor, this one ranks up there with the deluded world of the Human Shields from a few weeks ago.

Any relation to Jihad Johnny?

Then let me help. If this is the best of the left then Allah Akbar. Such pathetic tolerance for the realities of everyday prison life means that the opposition is only as strong as we see them. From this article, we should see them as developmentally delayed, self indulgent, and nothing substantial to obstruct the resurection of the real America.

Yesterday a Freeper in Chicago posted how the Chicago Police were dealing with violent Anti-American/Anti-War protestors. They were arresting them in the city but bring them down to the "Southern Precincts" to process. The person who posted it stated gleefully that these scumbags were getting a first-hand lesson on "diversity" in the cruelest sense of what such lessons might entail in a cell block.
Gotta love Chicago...

I'm sure this has already been noted but it's worth repeating... these protestors complain about their "treatment" while held overnight in an American jail but deny the Iraqi people freedom from a vicious terrorist dictator. They complain they were called "hon" and "little girl" as they protest a war that will save Iraqi women from rape and torture. They are insensitive, self-centered, poorly educated and childish. They should be made to attend "sensitivity" training featuring first hand accounts by victims of the Iraqi torture chambers.

Some women were addressed by deputies as "little girl" or "hon," one protester said. The HORROR!!!!
My thoughts exactly!

. When they did get fed, they got cheese or peanut butter-and-jelly sandwiches that didn't taste great.
They were on the other hand, less filling.
Their choice, "Tastes Great" or "Less filling".

If war were to ever break out between the Red and Blue zones in this country, this is our opponent. I'll sleep a little easier tonight knowing that. ;^)

These little brats make me sick to my stomach. If there was justice in the world, they'd be dropped into Baghdad right now.

Brian Henderson, 19, a UC Santa Cruz student, said police had used "scare tactics" on a protester who wouldn't give her name, including threatening to withhold bathroom privileges. Refuse to ID yourself to a jailer and expect a long, long stay in jail. But I would assume that protesters who use vomiting and defacating on public property as a tactic would have no problem in urinating in one's britches in jail.
