Okay, who knows what was said on Fox just now? Pix of Saddam on a stretcher? High officials leaving Baghdad, indicating Saddam probably toast? Help me, I'm still at work! (It's cool, I don't work until 5pm).

It appears that G. Bush & Co. was involved in a little urban renewal in Bagdad Iraq.

Saddam Hussein is reported to have asked the U.S. and Britain to respect the rights of POWs. This is the EXACT opposite of what was reported earlier. I wish those Iraqis would get those pre-recorded tapes right! Who is in control over there .... oh, that's right...it may be nobody. Anyone know where Peter Arnett, Jacques Chirac and Tom Daschole are situated in the Iraqi order of succession?

Thanks for the belly girl.

Hey, does anybody know what precision guided munitions pulverized Saddam's palace? We know that Tomahawks went in but did they also use JDAM's and Bunker Busters (GBU-28)?

I'm getting ready to retire for the night but, as is my wont, will post the new knowledge the wise I has gloamed this day.

Today, I realized that liberals were mean and nasty people. No, I'm serious. Okay, so y'all already knew that. But today, it dawned over my marble head.

I belong to another list. Bunch of liberals, a lot of them from Oregon and Washington state you can imagine.

Nothing, absolutely nothing, will ever change their minds that this war is wrong, Bush is a war-mongering idiot and we definitely should not drill in Anwar.

EVEN, and this is what blows my mind, the now evident fact that much of the horrors they (the liberals) predicted would come from this conflict, has YET happened.

They said the oil wells would be burned. There have been some fires but as I am always amazed, our army planned for it. Several oil fields were quickly captured today by the Navy Seals. Also, no great civilian casualties, at least not reported yet. Our army's been dropping leaflets of warning. No chemical weapons lobbed all about.

I know it's a "not yet" kind of thing but no, the liberals won't even acknowledge some small joy that the issues they so feared has yet to happen. Not to mention that small matter that we may have gotten Saddamn so toot de sweet.

I read another small minded and mean liberal editorial today. This missive asserting the embedding of journalists with the forces to be a bad thing.

"The army hopes the journalists will bond with the troops while charcoal body piles are kept carefully hidden," I paraphrase, but you get the point.

If this isn't the most unrealistic assessment mine lying eyes have chanced to read. Did this writer really, I mean really, think that of all the journalists currently embedded with the troops...all the journalists from very respected publications and major networks; that every one of these journalists, at least a few proud of their profession and a bit ambitious, would OVERLOOK A PILE OF CHARCOAL BODIES!?

Sure it's a run-on sentence but I had too much to lay before your eyes to make my point. Which this is mean liberal think that defies our very nature...to be the happiest and best we could be. Which would include David Bloom so desperate to redeem himself from presidential scolding that he might well plant a pile of charcoal bodies much less overlook such a thing.

That's it. Hope I made my point. Talk at you tomorrow hopefully.

BBC reporting Iraqi sources say 200-300 injured, 2 killed in Bagdad. [Even BBC admits, considering that 300+ cruise missiles hit, the casualty rate is extremely low.]

BBC RealPlayer feed is about 30 second slower than TV, so you can see the explosions on TV and again on BBC/RealPlayer. FYI
