Protesters, the stupid stuff they say
Posted on 03/21/2003 8:52:32 AM PST by Phantom Lord
I have seen many posts and articles regarding the anti-war protesters (actually they are anti-Bush and anti-capatilism). Many of these articles contain quotes from the protesters, and these quotes expose them as the idiots that they are. I am posting this thread in hopes that it can serve as a central location to post and retrieve their moronic statements. I will start the list.
"Saddam is a very confused and mixed up man," said activist Elise Bontrager. "And I think maybe that he hurts his people more than he needs to."

A link to the original source of the pic would be great!
And with the posting of quotes, a link to the source is appreciated. Thanks!

There was some online video footage a couple weeks ago where an intrepid journalist allowed antiwar protestors to expose their ignorance by asking them simple questions.
Anyone have a link to it?

WLS (in Chicago) was playing a tremendous one this morning. It made absolutely no sense whatsoever. I could drink a case of beer and still be more coherent than this stupid *&^%! Unfortunately, it's not posted on their website. Somebody's got to have it.

These were some of our guys, exposing Liberal idiocy at one of their protests.
(Check out the Libs trying to figure out if they've been dissed)

I still like the one woman who asked why the International Criminal Court couldn't just issue an arrest warrant for Saddam.

My favorite quote from a Vanderbilt Student during a protest in Nashville:
While 50% of the American People support the war, a great majority are against it.
Yogi Berra would be proud.

It would be great to see them interviewed instead of just throwing a temper tantrum, ask one to point out Iraq on a map. If they claim to be anarchists but receive a welfare check or attend a state university, ask them how that makes any sense. Ask them what kind of jobs they've held or what they're now doing for a living.

THIS IS NOT HUMOR, IT'S TRUE:
As printed in today's Contra Costa Times (California Bay Area):
Titled "Why retaliate now?" by Earl R. Neconie, San Pablo, CA
"If we look back at the Iran hostage situation, America never retaliated. If we look back at the bombing of the Marine barracks in Lebanon, America never retaliated. If we look at the many U.S. embassies that have been bombed or overthrown, America has never retaliated. And these are just a few examples of deplorable acts against the American people that were resolved in such a way that there was no additional bloodshed.
What is clear to me is that Bush truly lacks the intelligence and common sense of his predecessors."
This sums up my feelings: "I see stupid people. They're everywhere, and they don't even know that they are stupid."

I'm peeing my pants because of this picture.

Wen Dolphin, a 13-year-old seventh grader at Longfellow School in Berkeley, was among the younger demonstrators. He said both of his parents strongly oppose the war, but "my mom isn't too thrilled that I'm here today. "I had to promise her I wouldn't get arrested," he said.. "I'm not sure I'll be able to keep that promise."
Stupid thing to say and stupid parents for letting a 13 year-old endanger himself by going to a protest...
