I told my wife we sent the message to the world. If you act like this, we aren't going to kill all of your people, we will kill YOU - the tyrant behind the madness. It's a great message for every despot, present and future.

Ruling classes have traditionally, typically, and nearly universally identified more closely with other ruling castes than with their own subjects. Assassination is a righteous and Biblical mode of warfare. Ehud, the first judge of Israel, won his people's freedom and God's approval that way.
