Is it me, or do don't you love watching our troops move up from Kuwait and driving by 12 year old junk from Gulf War I?
Looks like Saddam leaves his broken toys where they fall. Reminds me of growing up in Arkansas!

Two random thoughts while watching the Army rolling into Iraq on Fox:
1) I pray that the M113 they are showing doesn't hit a mine and blow up right on live TV.
2) I visited democratunderground.com, and it made me sick. Those poor people are root for Sadaam, they badly want the U.S. to lose, and are not afraid to say so. To them, it's all about hating Bush. Anything that might help Bush politically is to be opposed, anything that might hurt Bush politically is to be supported, even defeat of the U.S. Military. What kind of sickos are they?

It's like Rush has said for 14 years...the left wants to see the military suffer and lose to justify their position.

On night one when all the other stations cut to broadcast, Peter Jennings had gone home for the night. His station continued to air The Bachelor reunion for an additional 10 minutes, until they had to get a news writer woman to go on air live.
When the columbia shuttle exploded he was also 3 hours behind the curve because he said he was stuck in traffic.
Why is he still around?

Check "The Corner" on NRO - nationalreview.com....they linked to a site that lists French companies and products you can boycott. You'd be surprised what they own.

I caught him for just a few minutes yesterday. He talks like he is SO sad...and he looks sick. Seems to have lost a lot of weight since I saw him last...and his skin has a grayish pallor.
Maybe it has just been a long time since I've seen him.

OOOOOPS. Thread pulled about Uday's demise.

I keep waiting for Jennings to finish the negative interview or the negative comment and then say something positive. But, he NEVER did that. It was all ANTI-American. Unflippin believable.

Yes he is, he's Army and not currently at home....explaining my addiction to the news.

True about sand being a big problem for the chopper visibility, especially on landing.... However, the CH46 seems to have had problems far from sand, from what I've gleaned.
