Which intersection was it? I often work at the Wadsworth Theater at the VA compound....

It's the corner of Wilshire and Federal. I'm on the 25th floor of the World Savings Building on that corner in Brentwood. My office overlooks the Wadsworth Theater (Veterans Admin). Apparently there are a lot of Freepers in Brentwood. :)
But the protestors show up there regularly ... yesterday they roamed from my corner to the Federal Building a block away.

Now she complaining that some guy was beat in the face by the police last night. They just cut her off and told her she's crazy.

Hold on just a minute, Mr. A. Since when is it the Federal Government's responsibility to 'create' a job? Those are created in the private sector, which is fleeing California en masse.
-'on clinics'-as if doctors cruelly turn people away without insurance-many do not, thus dispelling the myth of golf-playing lords; in fact there are a few doctors who are still in debt trying to pay back their education loans-working for the government doesn't make this any easier for them.
-'schools and books'-What? More money wasted to churn out 'graduates' so ignorant they can't even read their own diplomas?
'We want the money'-You think the President is just going to up and say, "Okay Mr. Ahuja, you and your friends can help yourselves to the federal budget coffers"? Dream on.

Earth to Protesters: If you want more money, to go to college, get health care, and to go to work, here's what you all need to do: GET OFF YOUR DUFFS AND FIND A JOB!
