Did you catch the coke bottle glasses? What was that all about? The message was so obviously recorded, Saddam or not. The guy did look like death warmed over sitting there now that I think about it!

Is it just me or is this the slowest damned war ever.
---
We are too impatient arent we. I cant wait for more. why havent we done more. Yet only 24 hours since it started, and they are already talking about the 2nd largest city Basra under attack and maybe being captured.
Consider: his war will over in less time than it took the UN to pass one resolution. (7 weeks for 1441!!!!)

You want a euphemism for Blitzkrieg? How about "Not24hrs,butreallymovinalongkrieg"?

Now, Cajun sugar girl, I'm with you. For a few afternoon hours while I was finding excuses not to work, FR got really boring. Couldn't they blow up a few MOAB's in the suburbs of Baghdaddio just for kicks, and to rile up the locals. Video footage so far been a real yawner, well, until some of the mech units went in tonight with video phones.

From the looks of that guy I would guess it spends 50% of its time in the other end.

For those that are curious about this image... 'ravers' consume the drug ectasy (amongst other drugs) and to prevent injury to their teeth, due to the drugs effect, and to aid in producing saliva, use pacifiers.
ravers- dancers, more than likely under the influence of drugs (that's kind of the point or excuse to dance / rave- use drugs)
a rave- a gathering of like minded youth, many fueled by drugs, dancing for hours on end to techno music (fast beat, synthesized music) tribal atmosphere
ecstasy- an illicit drug, causes most users to gnash their teeth obsessively, and dries out the users mouth
Notice the raver in the background- a pacifier is being used.

I do believe we are not seeing the real war. We are seeing tanks rolling around with funny looking anchors giving tv coverage as they bounce about,,,I do believe Bush and Rummy are having a secret laugh about those reporters on tv and the state of their lower backs. The real war is obviously happening not on tv,,they took a city and we didn't see it!! Now those tanks are going someplace but I think the reporters will hop off before the action starts assuming the action isn't a hoarde of naked Iraqis surrendering,,don't think that will be on tv.

You forgot to mention that a slang for tripping on X is called "rolling".
