There needs to be an investigation into who released the information and they need to be prosecuted. Franks learned what we all know...there is no such thing as "off the record" and trusting the media with vital information.

Hmmm...like the NY Times talking about how missiles can home in on satellite phones?

Maybe it's just ABC that's getting cut-off. From the looks of things, FoxNews is getting great cooperation from the military.

I do not trust Peter Jennings and ABC news.

General Franks should make the guilty party walk point for a bit.

A spy is a legitimate military target. Franks should waste these basturds-of-the-press.

Peter Jennings was the one who gave tactical and strategic information
He lists each vulnerability of each system.
Jennings is outrageous.

M'thinks Canada Petah and ABC are spreading disinformation and bllsht. One good thing about cable is it's Petah free if you want it.

There was no doubt in my mind that this would happen. Watch the subject reporter claim "he didn't know" and that would be the truth - ignorance which may cost American and British lives. I'll bet he was told they need more information back home since the "awe and shock" show they had anticipated has not happened and they can't hold their audiences. In time of war, why don't we just take the bas---- out back and .... The press has not changed since Vietnam.

One cannot trust the media. Either they are fools to the point of gross negligence or treasonous. Either way soldiers lives could be lost.

General Sherman was and is to be admired in the way he handled the press.

I was shocked the news media was telling why we aren't playing Shock and Awe. They were telling that we are trying to convince top military brass in Iraq to surrender. Why would we broadcast this strategy? Hussein will be working to foil this approach, now.
