Drinking from a canteen through your protective mask...
Good grief, some things never change. I hated the taste of water coming through that dinky little rubber hose...
Thanks for doing what you do so well, Diogenesis!

They look pretty relaxed in those holes. Maybe that's what my nephew's doing right now. He's in the 3rd Infantry division, he drives a Bradley.

That's the rocket booster firing a Tomhawk cruise missile out of its launch tube on a Royal Navy submarine. A rocket motor fires it out of the water and up into the air, where the wings unfold and its internal jet engine takes over.
That weapon is one of the best things to come out of the American defense establishment in the last thirty years. And as we've seen in both Gulf Wars, it's tailor made for situations like this. Don't want to send in a pilot? No problem. Just program the coordinates in our little jet-powered robotic kamikaze friend, and off he goes. :)

Ok, the registration numbers are N814HA. Go to google and check that string to find a registration history, and voila!
Pilot James Laverack has logged 7 flights in this Cessna C-172.
Click here to see the logbook entries for this craft that he flew in and around Naples, Florida as (looks like) a student pilot. Each flight has a different Captain noted. All flights were in May of 2001.
