It seems to me that if he had just escaped an attempt on his life, he would have mentioned that fact. His comments, other than the date, were completely genericI thought the same thing. That tape could have been made last week with him railing on about that criminal, Bush!
I don't think he survived last night, or we certainly would have seen him and his sons on LIVE TV today. I think that's why the 'shock and awe' hasn't come yet. Why put our military at risk and expend all that ordnance if Sadaam and much of the leadership is already dead?
