LOL! If this is true, it must frustrate the hell out of the enemy. That "Bad Bug" will be out for blood now!

The definition of "mission-oriented".

I've noticed a definite jump in disparaging comments about FNC. Jealousy, perhaps? I don't know.

Well, I like FNC's news, format and see no problem with their timing relating to breaking news. Like every other network, they lead with some and get beat with others.

That's some great luck to be shot down and it's only an inconvenience.

I am watching Fox now and I love em Shep is probably the best reporter on his feet that I have seen. Just sometimes with breaking news FNC drops the ball,I think back to that school bus incident in Pennsylvania about a year and a half ago FNC didn't even report on it till it was almost over.

Fox stated that the pilot landed as a safety precaution, not as the result of enemy fire, if I understood correctly. After checking out the system, they took off again. I don't think the shoot down title on this is accuratem, even though that is the way it was initially reported.

That must have been some serious AAA .... the Apache will shrug off .50BMG rounds like water on a duck's back.

You know, the guy irritates me. I don't have anything against him, but I don't care for his style. Different strokes...

Oh, I have no doubt about that, especially when relating to international events (though their support network seems much improved). But FNC also leads with stories. It's not like they're trailing behind on every breaking news item. :-)

May, infact, have been as simple as forgetting to remove a protective cover or exterior restraint. An understandable human error under the conditions.

That's the way it was initially reported by Ted Koppel who is with the 3rd ID. During his report you could hear tanks on the move in the background plus he was in full MOPP gear including mask. That's the way things go in war, first reports can sometimes be inaccurate. Just glad the guys got back up again. It's a bad feeling to sit on the ground as you watch your buddies fly past, I've been in that position.
