Let's hope that they're all dancing on Saddam's grave in the not too distant future!!

Good thing I read the caption above. Otherwise I would have thought this was a photo of an Iraqi anti-aircraft battery.

Just wondering, but why is that guy's finger on the trigger in the first photo?

Good point. You're not supposed to have your finger in the guard until you're ready to actually fire. But then again, these guys really are ready to start shootin'!!

Notice the wear to the finish of the pistol in the foreground. These weapons have seen a great deal of use and the owners are quite familiar with them.

Just wondering, but why is that guy's finger on the trigger in the first photo?Because he's been taking marksmanship lessons from the locals? :o)

"before convoying to a position near the Iraqi border "
Before????? What a bunch of wimps. This is the way most Arabs conduct combat ops (which explains Israel's stunning victory record).

Kind of disturbing photos
Here we've been bashing all the savage ragheads brandishing their weapons in the air for the past nine months, and it looks like the good guys are of a similar mindset!

Why is the sight of good men in arms disturbing?

"Just wondering, but why is that guy's finger on the trigger in the first photo?"Maybe because it is his "trigger finger"?

Please. This is great for moral. These men aren't going in to knock on doors and ask nicely for Saddam to come out and surrender. They are going into Iraq to kill. Best to get in the mindset to better do the job.

Pic #2 is disturbing. Didn't expect to see them praying, but I didn't expect them to be hootin & hollerin.

The only disturbing thing about this photo is ONE of our solders has not been disciplined in small arms enough to NOT keep his finger out of the trigger guard. Good thing he's a tanker.
