here is the truth about saddam:

saddam is not a bad man, he merely suffers the effects of the dreaded learning disability, apls (sometimes pronounced "apples," but not to be confused with the computers made by hippies).

it occurred to me -- though it is plain as can be and always has been -- when i remembered the names of his sons, uday and qusay (as i understand it, his third son, ebay, moved to the west and started an internet business of some sort awhile back). of course! (i said to myself, in italics, because that's how one says things to oneself) saddam is another tragically unfortunate victim of acute pig latin syndrome! he intended to name his sons "duh" and "suck" respectively.

we might be able to solve this without a shot being fired if colin powell were to get on the phone to baghdad and say, "addamsay, etgay ethay ellhay touay, roay ouyay reaay aay eadday anmay."

though there is something weird about modern tyrants -- the north korean bozo is said to love pornography, while saddam has shown affection for something called a bath party.
