Perhaps, but he is very sincere! Check out what he supports and who he supports! Wonderful man!

Looks like the Dixie Chicks got some T.R.O.U.B.L.E.

Obviously, the "Vichy Chicks" don't know squat about Texas!!
Hells Bells, I'm from Brooklyn and even I know Texas always has been and always will be a "shoot first and ask questions later" kind of state!!

Yes, we are!
You're pretty smart for a Yankee, Nitro.

IMHO, the Vichy Sluts' remarks, and the widespread revulsion to them, mark the end of the Suburban Era (Garth Brooks, Little Texas, Mary Chapin Carpenter, ad infinitum, ad nauseum) of country music. The hard-core country fans finally told the poseurs to get lost. It was bad enough seeing a bunch of yuppies trying to claim the mantle of Hank Williams and Tammy Wynette; and it became absolutely intolerable when the Hollywood Chicks spit the traditional C&W crowd in the eye to make points with their Hollywood idols. They will not be missed.

Well if I wasn't from Brooklyn...
the only other acceptable place would be Texas!!
I truly like your Thompson, you need a 100 round drum mag though!

Travis's spread is really nice.

Naw,
them drum suckers jamb too much!
BTW, Nitro, come on down! If you get homesick for Brooklyn, we got a New York, Texas, that makes a hell of a cheesecake. It is about 50 miles east of here in Corsicana, just southeast of Athens near Lake Palestine. We even got an Irran, Texas, out in west of San Angelo.

When I was in Uncle Sams Canoe Club...
I went to Boot Camp with a guy called Rick Sawyer from Lubbock...
he seemed amazed that a guy from Brooklyn had heard of Lubbock, TX!
I was amazed that he didn't know the world had heard of Buddy Holly!!
I was unaware of the jamming problem with the drum mag, having never fired one, is it a hang-fire? Couldn't you just cycle and re-open the bolt?

Your handle cracks me up.
To: countrydummy
I hate to get too cynical, but it makes good business sense to get on the right side of this thing quickly. Anyone in country music with some sense should've reacted to the Chicks exactly like Travis did. This will be a nice career bump for a guy who already has a nice career.
I'm sure he's sincere, but he's also very sharp.

now why would that be? I live in the country.....and when I first started out on the computer I had to buy the books "Internet for Dummies" and so on and so on, so that is how I picked my handle!
To: lawnguy
True to some extent, but this man is also head of a group that has been supporting Vets! So he is totally sincere and I will buy all of his records and support him 100%
