There are no innocent people in a war zone!

They aren't in public school :) Catholic School.
I am just remembering those Al Qaeda tapes. And feeling jumpy.

"Perhaps some grocery shopping is in order"Hubby called home today and told me to get to the grocery store today. So, there is some credence to this advice.

Me as well. I think I'll go with my gut on this. We'll see how I am in the morning.
To: Calpernia
I'd prayerfully consider all options, and proceed as inspired. Prayers for all. God bless America and our troops.

President just said, 48 hours. I'm going to proceed as normal. I will be on tomorrow morning. Feel free to freepmail me. I can't decide if my gut is just paranoia or what. Changing a childs routine can be harmful. I kept them home for an entire week during the WTC incident. I scared the crap out of them.

Pick up and gallon of milk, too. Oh! Don't forget to take out the trash on your way out and check the mail on your way home.

DHS "codes" are for Federal agencies and facilities only. States, and even cities, especially NYC, operate independently and on different criteria. I think NYC has remained on "orange" or an equivalent since the system was enacted, or, more properly, since 9-11.

I second that. War means some of the best young warriors and future leaders will die, that diminishes us all, forever. Now is a time for prayer.

Yeah, me too. Last night I woke up hearing sirens from a local fire station. A normal thing that happens a couple times a month, but it was the boom from the sound of speed being broken about five minutes later that got the pulse going.

Cindy -- or anyone -- you wouldn't happen to have that Homeland Security color chart featuring the Muppets, would you? If so, would you be kind enough to post it? Thanks.
