Sadly, the radical Muslims don't seem to believe in the concept of peaceful co-existence.

Consider this:

Every time we do business with muslims, we get knifed in the back. The Kurds, IMHO, will be no different. I wouldn't get too cozy with them. Muslim nations we build/help/rescue have historically turned on the US every time. It took a long time for Turkey to get around to screwing us, but they finally did.

I myself, would let the Kurds and Turks tear each other apart. Then we tear apart the 'winner'. Sounds barbaric, but look at who we're dealing with; barbarians. Our civilized Western mindset really hobbles us at times, especially when dealing with uncivilized peoples.

I don't believe the Kurds to truly be our friends. We are very expedient to each other, and that's all.

Never forget what we engineered in Iran, Afghanistan (1980's), Saudi Arabia, and now Turkey. Be very careful to whom we give guns and money to....we may very well see them again.

A scenario.....we have no access through Turkey so our main thrust is from the south. With Iraqi elements moved south to face us the north is left open. Turkey, with no real Iraqi force to oppose them AND NO US TROOPS to contend with, invades....who is to stop them? A handful of Kurdish fighters? Will US troops confront them? Is this wahat Turkey is really after?

I meant to say that their "Islamic fervor" craziness has pushed them to a place of irrationality. The nuttiness is like the vile Palestinians, homicide-bombing and asking for concessions. Treachery offends a strong and moral people.
