Rawlings says he and the Fanaselle family will give McCambridge a chance to make this right without going to court. The family says the biggest insult was McCambridge telling Fanaselle to go back to Iraq. Fanaselle is half Hispanic and half Italian.

I wouldn't stand for that song, or any song, save the national anthem. Were someone at a rodeo to pull my ear because of it, they'd lose whatever teeth they had.

Agreed. The kid didn't have to stand up for "God Bless The USA," wonderful a song as it is. Sounds like the guy behind him got a little too much beer courage and decided he was gonna go "smack him up some furriner." That's the kind of stereotype patriotic Americans don't need right now.
