Patriotic Concert at Deerfield Beach Sunday March 16, 6 p.m.

DEERFIELD BEACH –

The U.S. Army Field Band and Soldiers’ Chorus will be in concert in the Main Beach Parking Lot, Sunday March 16, 6p.m.

There is no charge for the admission. These musical ambassadors will play a program of patriotic music, a sampler from THE DIXIE CHICS, a tuba concerto, Tchaikovsky’s finale from Symphony no. 4, ending with John Philip Sousa’s “Stars and Stripes Forever”

I was thinking of flying some kites on the Beach during the concert, then if they start playing the Dixie Chicks Sampler, I can dive bomb the stage.

Unfortunately Deerfield Beach has an ordinance against flying kites on the Beach.

But in this case if the sheriff gives me trouble I think I will just say...

Hey Mr. Taliban Telly me tomorrow!

Deerfield Beach is in Broward just South of Boca Raton on the Palm Beach County Line.
