[history]
After two tough previous campaigns and with Republicans unabashedly declaring her a prime target, U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer had her doubts about running a third time.
Taking stock after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks made up her mind.
She had been in the federal Capitol on the day that a group of heroic passengers probably prevented hijacked United Flight 93 from targeting the building. She was swallowing Cipro antibiotics to fend off anthrax attacks. And she was receiving a storm of phone calls from Americans asking how to help.

Please, No Maggie's drawers this time 'round.
She is extremely vulnerable and so is Harry Reid in Nevada and a few other choice demRatic fanatics of socialism.

Well, if only we California Republican could pick a winning candidate and fight for them. I want this abomination retired.

Boxer's wearing a GOP targetThis is Cali - forget Barbara Boxer. Barbra Streisand would win there. There will never be another GOP Senator from that state.
"This is a time that I want to be part of. I think we have enormous challenges facing us."The fact that Boxer is a major contributor to the mess we are currently in is not worth mentioning, huh, Babs?
How about your undying support for the gradual eradication of America's moral, social, and economic well-being under the reign of slick willie. We are watching and will act when the election date approaches.
I have a feeling FR will be no small contributor towards the defeat of this and the other senator from California. By any and all means, let's send the rich old dames home.

Babs must be running scared to some extent, because all of a sudden she's making herself much more visible in the press, pretending like she's been busy doing something. A strong and charismatic opponent could defeat her, I think, because no one really likes her, she just gets elected on name recognition (like many others).

I see 12 vulnerable Democrat Senators running or retiring.
Boxer,Reid, Schumer, Zell(retiring)Miller, Lincoln, Edwards, Dorgan, Murray, Mikulski, Daschle, Graham, Leahy, Hollings.
A few may seem unbeatable, but after last November all bets are off.
The perfect Republican candidate can beat each of these Dems.
My low-ball number for Senate change is +4 pickup for the Republicans.

This is one more reason why the Republicans need to straighten out the party in California. And that does NOT mean putting it under that moron Gerald Parsky. Otherwise no matter how weak the Democrats are, they'll win by default.
The main reason the Republicans didn't "communicate with the voters" in the last election is that pro-abort Parsky decided he wouldn't bother to raise any money for Simon. He stayed home in a snit while the fat-cat Republican donors he had promised to solicit for contributions gave to Gray Davis instead.
If Karl Rove hadn't completely misread the situation, he would have realized that the California Republican base and the necessary swing voters are pro-life. Simon almost pulled it off, even with all the media against him and no money to get his message out. But if Rove doesn't get the message soon, Boxer will be re-elected. The media will support her enthusiastically, so her opponent will need some other way to reach the voters. That will take a combination of money and a pro-life message. No more Riordans, and no more Parskys.

I don't believe for a second that she was undecided about running and that September 11 changed her mind. Claiming that is just a pathetic attempt to cloak herself in the September 11 sentiment. She has done nothing in response to September 11 but obstruct, and has accomplished nothing whatsoever in her 10 years in the Senate except take orders from Daschle and follow them like a good little robot (has she sponsored any original and significant legislation at all?). Given the chance, this do-nothing will find a way to die of old age in the Senate simply to try to impose her liberal ideology on people that do not want it.
I hope the California Republicans find someone good to run against her and that the party wakes up from its stupor and manages to win a statewide election for once. I thought the first guy they ran against her was pretty good, but California is just too tough a nut to crack. At least make it competitive, guys!

There will never be another GOP Senator from that state. If ballot stuffing, cigs for votes, voter shuffling and dead voters are silenced, there will be. But that's a big "IF". Can you tell I've lost faith in the system?

She will speak today about what she calls an attack on California values by the Republican-led Congress and the White House.
"We're going to have to defend Barbara Boxer," said California Democratic Party Chairman Art Torres. Catbox is an open defender of the indefensible and has been for years. She also received campaign funds from the fetal tissue harvesting industry for her loyal support of ALL abortion and fetal tissue harvesting issues. The woman is a ghoul. During the floor debates on a partial birth abortion ban, she tried every trick of a devious democrat to prevent this heinous slaughter method from being banned, including outright lying and dissembling. Catbox is the epitomeof thedemocrat who believes its not wrong to lie and lie and lie to support the societal engineering agneda and belief system ... a belief system exactly opposite to the founding documents of this Republic and an agenda that makes a profitable commodity out of innocent individual little ones sequestered in the womb. Perhaps Californians will awaken to the truth of their complicity in not getting out to vote such ghouls as barbara boxer out of office shoulders some of the blame for the evils she champions upon their lives too.

Barbara Boxer is nothing more than a child-hating barbarian. If she can't help mutilate young girls and boys, she isn't having a good day. What an abominable piece of filth she is.

We reelected the worst governor in the nation & the sheeple will reelect close to the worst senator in the nation. No candidate will take on illegal & legal immigration issues & if a pubbie did Carl Rove wouldn't allow them to win or even go to the White House - ala Tancredo. So no matter what we get another senator from the "Two-Party Cartel". However if anyone wants to give me 30 million I will run on a TRUE conservative platform & WIN.

I'm an optimist. In time and with a few good flushes, the CAGOP
could be successful again.
They need to field some good candidates and back them to the hilt for a change. So far, I am not locked in to supporting anyone myself.
Boxer is not as strong as she used to be. 9/11 changed the political landscape dramatically, not to mention her undying support for abortion, most recently her vigorous support for partial birth.
A human life has more value these days to a lot of Americans. I think that will show up at the voting booths in November 2004.

What's the senate gonna be like without ol' FRitz Hollings? First, Strom, now Fritz..
Hey BYRD Take a hint!!!

150 fund-raisers in only one year, eh?
Works out to about one every other day.
Let's keep her on the floor instead with a filibuster vote threat.

Barbara's always been at her best when she just shuts up. Any attempt at introducing legislation is always defeated because it's ludicrous. She needs to go.

Call me for a donation - I'm series. We need a clean slate here in California. ;)

Hehehe, Barbara Boxer. I'm still thinking on what I want to say to Gray Davis in that letter we've been encouraged to write in my class. Maybe I should mention the fact that if he effectively kills community colleges, the students (and their parents, since they'll be too busy trying to come up for the money to register their cars to come up with double the tuition money) might just vote against every damn democrat that comes up for election. Of course I would send a copy to Ms. Boxer and advise her to bone up on baking cookies for her grandkids, since she's going to have a lot more spare time after the next election : )

I'm sending my donation to the local GOP with the Words: DUMP REID! All that Nevadans have gotten from him is a Nuke Dump and he's risen steadily in the Senate.
