Yes, Cat Stevens has rerecorded "Peace Train." Personally, I think it blows compared to the original, but the words are the same, so if the original didn't offend you, this one won't either. You can dowload or stream a WMA version
from this page.
Ngise'Khaya. The Beastie Boys' song, "In A World Gone Mad...", can be downloaded or streamed in MP3 format from their homie page. (Get it? Homie? HA HA!) It will prove exactly as laughable as you would expect from them.
John Cougar Mellencamp Irrelevanthasbeen's song is "To Washington." Downloadable here as an MP3. It's far more of a straight Bush-hate song than anything else; the references to the impending war appear to be mere afterthoughts.
You all know Darryl Worley and his song. "Have You Forgotten" is streamable, but not downloadable, from this site. In addition, if you are an AOL subscriber, you can hear his entire new CD, "I Miss My Friend," via this link:
aol://4344:PP:55216975:26410812,aol://1391:46-34445
It's not scheduled for release until July 16.
Toby Keith's "Courtesy of the Red, White, & Blue (The Angry American)" is streamable here in RealAudio and Winsows Media formats.
Bruce Springsteen's "The Rising" streamable here, RealAudio and Windows Media.
Alan Jackson's "Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning)" streamable here, RealAudio only.
Finally, your friend and mine, Steve "No, I'm not the illegitimate son of Garrison Keillor and Stephen King" Earle's fabulous love song, "John Walker's Blues," isn't available for streaming legally AT ALL! Way to go, Captain Socialism!

Liberty or death, what we so proudly hail
Once you provoke her, rattling of her tail
Never begins it, never, but once engaged...
Never surrenders, showing the fangs of rage
Don't tread on me
So be it
Threaten no more
To secure peace is to prepare for war
So be it
Settle the score
Touch me again for the words that you'll hear evermore...
Don't tread on me
"Don't Tread On Me" - Metallica

I burned a killer country compiliation on CD earlier this week that includes two of these songs. Running order of the CD goes like this:
AARON TIPPIN - WHERE THE STARS AND STRIPES AND EAGLES PLAY
AARON TIPPIN - YOU GOTTA STAND FOR SOMETHING
JOHN ANDERSON - I'VE GOT IT MADE
MARK WILLS - NINETEEN SOMETHING
DAVID BALL - RIDING WITH PRIVATE MALONE
KEITH URBAN - WHERE THE BLACKTOP ENDS
DARRYL WORLEY - HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN
TOBY KEITH - COURTESY OF THE RED, WHITE & BLUE (LIVE)
TOBY KEITH - WHO'S YOUR DADDY
BROOKS & DUNN - ONLY IN AMERICA
RICHOCHET - DADDY'S MONEY
JOHN ANDERSON - BLACK SHEEP
CLINT BLACK - IRAQ AND ROLL
DARRYL WORLEY - A GOOD DAY TO RUN
TRAVIS TRITT - IT'S A GREAT DAY TO BE ALIVE
LEE GREENWOOD - GOD BLESS THE USA
This CD kicks ass in the car, I tell you. It's going to be one of my summer soundtrack CD's for sure.
