If I was the French ambassador to Iraq, I'd move out of the embassy. Let's all remember what happened when France denied us rights to cross their airspace when we bombed Libya ...
Anyone know the French word for ... INCOMING?!
To: Tactical
I been thinking the same thoughts....France has an unseen partner in all this.....who??

Alliot-Marie is to go to the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia
those countries want US Power Not France's BS

If the arab countries suddenly back out after the French visit, then I might worry about that. But I think there are less armeggedon-like reasons that explain this.

Not if France is the front for a silent partner.....or partners..

Let's not allow any reinforcements from arriving in Cote d'Ivoire. Let's see how long the French troops there would last.
To: Dog
They can't do it - they do not have the power. Germany will not allow it. They will be up to their necks in Turks. He will weasel out of it in the end. Turkey will end up in the Russian orbit.

We have surrounded the less dangerous country. Time to put Iraq on hold and tend to more urgent business.

Has it been made official that France is an Enemy of the United States? Once Iraq is liberated France can replace Iraq in the Axis of Exil

From the
Press Association:
France - 'we stand by our position' France's foreign minister Dominique de Villepin said his country's position had not changed and France would veto a second resolution authorising force against Iraq. He said: "We will say no, if there is nine votes or not, if the resolution is a resolution authorising the will of force. "While the inspectors are saying there is a chance to obtain the disarmament of Iraq through inspections, the international community, the security council, should continue to work this way and not change of logic, not put itself in the logic of war."

I'm with a few others here -- France is not acting as a neutral. They are acting as a hostile combatant. Would be a damn good idea to put that B.S. aircraft carrier of theirs on the bottom of the ocean as a message. It'd do more good down there anyway as a fish habitat.

Chirac has lost his senses. France opposes EU membership for Turkey and opposed Turkey's request for NATO defensive assistance last month. Even if he offered to reverse policy, why would Turkey believe him, since he lied to the US and UK about supporting the language of 1441? Turkey may or may not give us what we want, but France will have no influence, except perhaps to push them into our arms.
To: Dog
if this is true, the turks have choosen poorly because the French won't be able to help anyone when we get done
