There's a lot of good country around that hasn't been tainted by Nashville. Try some Ian Tyson, especially, "Old Corrals and Sagebrush" or "I Outgrew the Wagon" Old timey ranch music, well done and not overproduced. Don Edwards is great and so are Sons of the San Juaquin.

All great. Have you heard R.W. Hampton too? - excellent stuff, and his latest CD has a couple of pieces where he's worked with Ian Tyson as well. Do you get to hear Hugh McLennan's Spirit of the West online or on radio there?
