The other night, at their opening for their tour in London, they indicated on stage that they were sad to know/hear that our President was from Texas. Again, it is sad to see and hear yet another "celebrity" announcing that they are ashamed of their President of their Unites States. I just wish we would get over and get back so that these "celebrities" would quit using all of these Grammy, Emmy, own concert "stages" to provide their political saitre.

Agreed!
Remind 'em of Rosie's "career" after she came out of all of the closets and shot her income in the foot with her mouth(self-defense hater, million maroon supporter, etc.)....followed by tanking cash flow...
I also wonder about Earl...

I posted a picture. I didn't comment on her physique, just her character. If they two go together well, ...you figure it out. I also didnt post to you... Looks like Natalie's big mouth eventually got them in hot water...with the Right anyhow.

Not likely. They've broken just about every record sales and concert ticket sales record this is to be broken. Sad but true. Few feel strongly enough about their convictions to back them up with even the petty inconvenience of not listening to or watching someone anymore. I haven't seen a Julia Roberts movie in years.

I posted a message to the NYC WLTW lite rock station(i.e. only one step up from elevator). They play all this lite garbage that I'm subjected to at work daily. If I can elinimate one song, perhaps something better will get in there. Although I fear more Cher songs(a constant rotation favorite)
Feel free to send your displeasure as well. The whole station is horrible, but anything to add to their pain is a good thing.
Down with the Chix!

"Uh oh. Country music and anti-Americanism don't mix. Buh-bye gals." Tu Roo! Looks like they are performing their rite of passage from 'country' to the big city of Hollywood. Too bad. They are no Tanya Tucker.

I think the Dixie Chicks should go back to Canada, or where ever they are from. No class at all to do that on Foreign soil. Why don't you come back to America and say that to our faces? You bunch of pansie nitwits. I never liked the Dizie Chicks anyway and found them kind of nauseating.

Have you heard their current war-themed song? It's a cynical characterization of being a 'travelling soldier'. Like a soldiers some fkn gypsie, not to be trusted or loved. Bunch of sick b#tches.

Yea, I listened to the song and it is a somber look at how its hard to be in love with a soldier as he may die and create heartache.... Never did I feel like it was a negative, cynical look at soliders. Maybe you should listen to the song again... "More Love" is about as hippy as you could get.

They are coming to Tampa in May.I was going to buy two tickets, and I seldom go to concerts.
Oh well.I expect a few WFLA 970 hosts will have a few choice words to say about them...excuse me while I make sure this information gets around.

you folks are doing a great job on that Dixie Chicks yahoo message board. The "regular" fans there are freaking out!

Natalie's husband (left). She married a fag. What do we expect?
The Dixie Chicks have been performing with and singing with Sheryl Crow for four years or so, I think. Gawd these people just cave to peer pressure like they never had an original thought in their life.
Anyway---Natalie's home life probably isn't, well, normal, so maybe she isn't responsible for what she says.

Has anyone sent this to Drudge yet? His site can spread the word about these clowns. I didn't see it on his web site yet.

Think we struck a nerve with holanet? Check out how that jerk fancies himself as Captain Morgan. I wouldn't listen to his sound clip. I'll bet it is pretty shrill. Where did this zionist crap come from? |

I'm not any kind of huge country music fan. I live in the South and grew up with it and I am fine with it, but not a big fan.
BUT----country music fans are the finest, good people of this nation, they support the nation and the President and they support people and songs like the Toby Keith one and this recent Daryl Worley song ("Have You Forgotten")....
For The Dixie Chicks to say what they did is a slap in the face to the people who made them famous! How dare they! It's an outrage. They know that the people who buy their records aren't Democrats or young rock music fans or Democrat rappers in the hood or whatever---_THEIR fans are the same people who voted for George Bush by and large.
They deserve to be punished and punished good.
I know that country radio and country dj's are very networked, so to speak---they know and work with each other and with the artists and the industry. And I wager that most every country DJ is a pro-American conservative who would barf at the likes of Sheryl Crow. So I hope these dj's will stand up for the FANS and against anti-American demonstrations in foreign countries by country music singers! What a disgrace!

'Twas ever thus.
The longer these morons stay in the limelight, the more seriously they take themselves. And the more they crave to be taken seriously by others. And the cheapest way to be taken seriously is to mouth some idiotic Lefty shibboleth.
But that's beside the point. Please, somebody go buy these flap-titted twits some burqas.

I had heard something about Merle had become Socialist. Clinton supporter. Do you or anyone know details about that?
Good well be true
His personal live was so screwed up
The booze coke and gambling addiction and then starting another family in his 60s could very well have screwed up his brain
If so it will be very sad since he was a hell of a talent and I have about 40 of his albums
Be hard for me to enjoy them if it is true
