Yea, I listened to the song and it is a somber look at how its hard to be in love with a soldier as he may die and create heartache.... Never did I feel like it was a negative, cynical look at soliders. Maybe you should listen to the song again... "More Love" is about as hippy as you could get.

I don't think that's what that song is about. It's about young love and the reality of war. It's a beautiful song.
