3-12-03 - Country singer, Darryl Worley has written a wonderful song called "Have You Forgotten?" set to be released on April 15th. Darryl appeared on Hannity and Colmes on Fox News on Monday and stated that his song is not getting air play. One station manager stated that "I don't care how popular it is, or how many requests I get for the song, I'm not playing it."
Today the song is #50 on the Billboard Singles chart. It's time to be pro-active again, and call your local radio station, request the song and remember on Tax Day, April 15th, to go out and buy "Have You Forgotten?" by Darryl Worley.

I don't know about anywhere else, but in Savannah, GA I hear that song about 20 times a day. No exaggeration. One morning I heard it 3 times in 2 hours. It's a good song, but I'm already tired of hearing it...sorry.

I have pre-purchased his album at Amazon.com. It was the #7 seller yesterday afternoon and hasn't been released yet.

I said I liked the song. I just don't understand why people are saying it's not getting air time. Maybe that's true elsewhere, but not here.
I don't like hearing the same song 40 times a day. That goes for ANY song. (That's why my radio mostly stays on talk radio.) I like variety. Does that make me a bad person?
I love Toby Keith's song Couretsy of the Red, White, and Blue; and still enjoy hearing it. At the same time, I don't remember hearing that one as much when it first came out.
The same goes for Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning and It's Not a Rag, It's a Flag.
americanbychoice: And just because I said that I've heard that song 'til I'm about tired of it does NOT mean that I'll ever forget 911...I'm not heartless for god sakes. FYI...I still cry when I hear Alan Jackson singing about it.

BTW...even though I'm getting "flamed" for saying I'm hearing the song "too much"...I really like your montage. Very moving. I haven't seen the video for the song yet (is there one?); but your montage will make a good one.
