THE chief United Nations weapons inspector denied yesterday that he was covering up finds in Iraq, even as it emerged that a second discovery had gone unreported to the UN Security Council.
The same declassified UN report that revealed that inspectors had found an undeclared 7.45-metre drone also contained new information about the discovery in December of modified aircraft fuel tanks capable of spraying germ or chemical agents.
But Hans Blix, the chief inspector, shrugged off suggestions by American and British officials that he tried to hide bad news from Security Council Foreign Ministers in his oral presentation last Friday. Everyone tries to squeeze us to get as much mileage out of us as they can, Dr Blix said after John Negroponte, the US Ambassador, questioned him about the drone in a closed-door session of the Security Council. We have had a lot of work to get the cluster document together and to declassify it and it does take some time to produce these reports as well.
Dr Blix said that Iraq should have declared the drone, but it would not be illegal unless it went further than the UN permitted range of 150km or was equipped to disperse chemical or biological weapons. Iraq says that its range is 55km.
Mr Negroponte called the undeclared drone a matter of serious concern.
Dr Blix refused to provide any details about a second find by inspectors that was not reported to the Security Council until Friday afternoon. The declassified UN report says: Modified aircraft fuel tanks were found at Khan Bani Saad Airfield in December 2002. These tanks were stated to have been part of an indigenously manufactured agricultural spray system that was stated to have been produced by the air force. The expertise gained in the development of the generators and the evidence of parallel work on a similar device that was not declared, is of some concern.
The White House said that Iraq had failed to declare two unmanned aerial vehicles, the 7.45-metre drone and a converted L29 jet trainer with drop-tanks auxiliary tanks to extend the range of aircraft.
Britain and America seized on the disclosures to persuade voters on the UN Security Council that an ultimatum was required.

and the choice of Frenchmen and those who sell WMD.

Blix denies cover up
This traitorous piece of excretement probably went to the same school of masturbation techniques, as that freak, Ritter.
He thinks he can jerk rest of us off without anybody even noticing.
What a bunch of losers. We need to get out of the U.N. now!

Most of the media is just as complicit. I heard ABC radio news yesterday call the drones "a late addition to Blix's report" with no mention of the criticism or controversy for leaving it out of the report.

Let's put Blix in charge of our IRS.

Dr Blix said that Iraq should have declared the drone, but it would not be illegal unless it went further than the UN permitted range of 150km or was equipped to disperse chemical or biological weapons. Iraq says that its range is 55km. EXCUSE ME, but I believe they already LIED about the range of their missiles. So can we add this up now?
- On December 8th, they were supposed to declare EVERYTHING
- The inspectors are there merely to prove that the Dec. 8 report (which claimed nothing) is true
- the UN can't account for TONS of bio/chem materials known to exist
- the UN found (somehow) illegal missiles
- the UN found a drone that's probably illegal
- the UN found old chemical warheads
- the UN found a cluster munitions missile
- the UN found piles of nuclear program documents
- the UN is NOT being permitted to hold truly private interviews with Iraqi scientists (who fear for their lives)
- the IAEA disputes US claims about the use of super-high grade aluminum tubing that Iraq has
- Iraq is claiming it will use bio/chem weapons -- that they "don't" have -- on American invaders
Okay, so How Many Different Weapons Systems have to pop up that are on the ILLEGAL list before you figure out what the United States and Britain has been saying all along?!?!??
Material Breach? Sorry, we're WAY past that.

Okay, it's illegal to have drones that are equipped to spray chem/bio weapons. The drones are equipped to be part of an "agricultural spray system" produced by the Iraqi Air Force.
If they were simply crop dusters, they wouldn't have been built by the friggin' Iraqi Air Force.
Case closed. Smoking gun. End of story. (Yes, I know, the French will say it's meaningless, but Blix has finally found his smoking gun--and of course he's covered it up).

It makes me sick the way we're paying for countries to be our friends! Why in the world do we have anything to do with the irrelevant and obsolete UN? They're a bunch of evil people. We've got countries on our side Tony and Howie are great! And I surely appreciate them.
Blix needs to be put in jail for a very very long time! He makes my stomach churn!

www.warroom.com had a great audio of the former Deputy Prime Minister of Sweden and friend of Blix during his show last Friday (March 7, 2003). Go
here click on the March 7th show and move the time slide bar to 1:11 (one hour eleven mins). This is a real eye opener. The story of the scientist who tried to escape and was turned away is amazing.
