Petition for the UNITED NATIONS
The Freedom Institute | Jonathan Williams

Posted on 03/11/2003 4:20:43 AM PST by lethbridge_east

Hello I am formulating the following petition which I will send to the heads of government and to Kofi Annan and the UN for the end of this week or when the vote takes place.

Please can you help with this as I am aiming at getting as many different signatures as possible for this and sending in an email to them as our first official campaign by the Freedom Institute.

Any advice would be gratefully received. As well as some additional help getting the documents translated at least into French.

Jonathan Williams Editor Freedom Institute www.freedominstitute.ca

Should you want add your name please email me. editor@freedominstitute.ca

From The Freedom Institute

We the undersigned appeal to the nations of the UN Security Counsel and its leader Kofi Annan the following statement.

As representatives for our respective countries argue and bicker about the issue of Iraq it is important to remember that the people of Iraq suffer. They are still suffering even this day for the cause of a man who by the UN's own admission has willfully violated United Nations resolutions.

We the undersigned would like to point out that the United Nations were set up at the end of World War Two to create and keep the peace among the nations of the world. It is in the United Nations own charter that they are to protect the human rights of all people. Where is this respect for human rights?

We the undersigned note that the UN has reached as Prime Minister Tony Blair has put it an "Abyssinia Moment". You as our representatives to the world body will either come forward and stand for the ability to "unite our strength to maintain international peace and security,"(UN CHARTER) Or you will mark yourself as irrelevant and unnecessary burden that puts abysmal leaders in positions of "Head of Human Rights" (Lybia) or "Head of Disarmament" (Iraq).

Please note that we THE PEOPLE of the Nations that created and support the UN look to your body for guidance and example but remind you that we THE PEOPLE can work towards removing our governments from this body should it prove to become a praia of mass confusion and disrespect.

To the Governments of the Nations We would remind them that by avoiding War this day will bring war most assuredly and nothing that those countries did in the last few months will be forgotten.

Sincerely

Jonathan Bruce Williams Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom and Canadian Citizen Editor of the Freedom Institute and founder.

We the undersigned agree with this statement:

Can't sign up for that.....let me know when there is a draft explaining how useless the UN is, and why we want to withdraw completely.

I emailed the White House with my sentiments about the UN and the delays.

IMHO, a petition to the UN is, to use a Biblical phrase, "casting pearls before swine."

If there ever was a case for one world government, it is currently operating. It's called The United States of America.

Agreed! When it says "We,the people of the United States of America, being a FREE NATION,which was bought with the blood of our forefathers and defended from tyranny since our independence,do hereby consider the U.N. null and void".

Then I'll sign it.I am not a "persons of the nations".I AM a person of an American Nation.

....although I can appreciate what LBE is trying to accomplish. For myself however, I would like to leave the UN as quickly as possible. It's primary mission is to handicap and subjugate the United States and others.

...appeal to the nations of the UN Security Counsel and its leader Kofi Annan...

Appeal: an earnest entreaty for aid, sympathy, or the like; prayer; supplication; a resort to some higher power or final means for sanction, proof, or aid.

You HAVE to be kidding! Sorry, bud, we don't entreat the head honcho of the Useless Nitwits for anything. We have a President; we have a Congress, oh, and technically speaking, WE THE PEOPLE are the government, so when WE THE PEOPLE want something done, WE THE PEOPLE will entreat our PRESIDENT and our CONGRESS to do it--not some sniveling fifth-column creep. Already wrote my own letter to let that slimey terrorist sympathiser to pack his stinking bags and get the heck out of our country, and install himself and his America-hating minions in Paris.

Here is a problem. They are NOT my or any freeman's represenatives;rather, they are a conglomeration of despotic and hatemongering nations whose agenda is to bring America's freepeople into bondage hard labor ( higher and higher taxation and unjust laws)and ignorance( the dumbing down of children at public school systems helps them tremendously). Their cruelist representatives in America is the left wing democrats who work to take our freedoms away one right at a time.
The United Nations should be kicked out of America YESTERDAY at the soonest. Our freedoms rest on our sovereign constitution and bill of rights, not on a one world government constitution of deceit and trechery.

Let me explain my position here.

First off we all know the UN is flawed... it does not take a genius to figure that out so on those point we agree. What I am trying to do with this petition it to point out to those who are sitting their with smiles on their faces laughing at US dismay that they will not be laughing long.

Secondly, when President Bush got up in the UN in October and started the process we are in now he created the need for the UN. Was it wrong,,, well yes but at the time it seemed like a master stroke because it gave Tony Blair the impedious to go into this with idea of getting the blessing of the UN SC.

They should have just gone in and dealt with the mess later. They didnt so here we are. Truth is I am frustrated by this I think if the USA had not gone to UN they would have had moaners but you would not have the problems and confrontation, we would not have given the world stage to play god but now they are.

If you read this you will not I said nothing about the people of dictatorships setting up the UN or even the people setting up the UN what I said was those that Set up the UN who in my words said, "THE PEOPLE of the Nations that created and support the UN."

These nations include the USA and include the British. We are saying if you cannot get it together you can sink. If you cannot clean up the disaster that is that organization then you should die as the League of Nations died in imfamy.

If you want to sign up please do. We are getting support for this and it will be sent to that fellow in France and Bush and Blair and Germans and Russians and the Chinese. If they ignore it fine but I see it as a final warning from us a 1441 from the people who will seek the UN be destroyed rather than wasting time and money on it. And this will be no paper tiger.
