Most Texas cities have zoning ordinances. My father-in-law wrote most of the zoning code for two or three different cities in Texas (each with a population of 25K to 125K), so I know that any Texas town can handle this through zoning. Some neighborhoods also have homeowners' associations that promulgate additional restrictions beyond the local zoning ordinances.

At any rate, the purchase of property by this clown does not give him carte blanche to simply trash the local neighborhood by using the property any way he wishes to do so. The existing homeowners also have rights, as he is likely soon to discover.

I was confused I guess because Houston famously does not have zoning, right? Anyway, I know the Lone Star state does allow communities NOT to have zoning if they want--unlike most other states, where it is required. It'd be good to hear if Crawford uses zoning or not.

I doubt this will go anywhere, since the President's ranch is 7 miles away... and how many protestors what to go to the middle of Texas, POing the locals, just to try to get attention. It's a no go, from a mushy headed lib.
