New Zealand terror threat no hoax

Police in New Zealand say they are taking seriously, a letter to a newspaper containing a terrorist threat for citizens in two main cities.

The letter threatens to poison water pipes with cyanide in Auckland and Wellington.

Cinemas are also warned of the possible use of explosives or gas.

New Zealand's counter-terrorism chief, Assistant Commissioner Jon White, says the letter sent to the New Zealand Herald last Tuesday cannot be discounted as a hoax.

He says while the security alert in New Zealand remains low, the public should remain vigilant and report anything suspicious.

I just checked out the site you linked, most of it is strange, but I found one thing that made me laugh so hard my eyes watered. So here it is:

The Canadian Government has decided to assist the USA in the war against terrorism:

The Canadians have agreed to send:

I love New Zealand, but the country has become a socialist breeding ground. They are soft and don't seem to realize that being a larely white, Christian (even tokenly so), and culturally western nation makes them subject to the same genocide or conversion choice that Islam is planning for the rest of us.

They resemble Canadians in that having someone else care for their security for the past twenty years has made them lazy, complacent, and ungrateful to those who have been covering their backs all this time.

1. Terrorists' primary objective it to terrorize as widely as they can. They need head count to insure that everyone knows they can do it. Nobody is exempt.

2. New Zealand Kiwi's have a very small military, huge flocks of sheep, and great white wine.

3. You won't see much about it, but they are excellent in intelligence. I believe they are making significant contributions, but you won't hear about it.

ANZUS doesn't exist anymore. It dissolved when the Kiwis told the U.S. we couldn't have nuclear armed or powered ships dock at their ports anymore. And no, they don't have much of an army; hardly even any police. Very little crime; most of it is property crime (theft, vandalism) committed by Maoris or immigrants. We went there a year ago, and except for its looney-left national government, it's a paradise on earth. And by the way, the city water supply of Auckland has absolutely the best water I've ever tasted; better than any bottled water, better than spring water in the Smoky Mountains. New Zealand is heavily forested and has virtually no pollution, so they just collect the rainfall running off the mountains, and pipe it into town with minimal treatment.
