The RALLY TO SUPPORT THE TROOPS in Manchester, Ct, went of without a hitch!

We had about 300 people show up, and pictures will be posted soon.

Several stations were present: FOX 61 WTIC; NBC 30 WVIT (More about their lies later); ABC 8 WTNH, and CBS 3 WFSB.

The rally was lead off like a great procession. We opened up with the National Anthem, followed by the Pledge of Allegience lead by VFW Commander John Ribado.

Prayer was offered by the post Chaplin, followed by a Gun Salute in honor of those already fallen.

Several short speeches were given by WWII veterans, Korean Veterans, Vietnam Veterans, and Gulf War Veterans.

Many wives and parents of Soldiers and Marines and Airmen Spoke of their love and desire for their loved ones to come home, and of how they were grateful for the VFW to hold such a rally in support of the troops.

I was in tears myself about 5 times, it was a great joy to see Americans who did not think like idiots, but gathered together to honor our troops in time of war.

I spoke last, reminding all of the left wing losers we encountered at the Washington DC events, and those in NYC. I told them of the Hizbollah flags, The PLO flags, the Anarchist flags, the pornographic pictures and caricatures against President Bush and the communist connection.

Here is where it gets sickening.

I was approached by two reporters, one from the JOURNAL INQUIRER, and one from the left-wing Hartford Courant. The one from the Courant was named TINA BROWN.

She came up to me and asked me to expand on what I meant about what I saw concerning all the communist groups that were leading the anti-war movement. I started to go into a little more depth in my answer, when she interrupted me with this question, "No, What I want to know is, I don't get it, what is wrong with Communist groups leading peace movements?"

I just looked at her, I said, "If you don't know what is wrong with that, I am not even going to talk to you." Then I quickly walked away.

That is the new QUOTE OF THE WEEK.

The next insult came from Channel 30.

I watched their 6pm broadcast, and they played a short video of the rally, showed only about 15 to 20 people, from a low angle looking up, then showed video WITH SOUND of two separate PEACE-NAZI rallies held around the state. They stated that we had only 100 people at our rally, while the largest rally turnout for the PEACE-NAZIS was about 15.

I panned the crowd many times with my video camera, and I have screen capture software. It might take a few days, but we will count heads, and see that their intentional miscount is corrected, and I mean intentional, I spoke to the crowd through my loudspeaker 3 times announcing the rally population, and Little Bill counted also. His numbers were higher than mine.

KUDOS!!!!!!! Loved your answer to the reporter-bet it left her stunned. Good. Knowing the VH-1 took OUT the boos that forced hillary clinton off the stage at the fireman, policeman thank you benefit after 9/11 (replacing the BOOS with CHEERS before distributing the video-knowing that millions of Americans had seen the event live), I am no longer suprised at anything the media does to promote the liberal agenda. Camera angles meant to change the scope of an event suck.

That guy in pic 4, FIDEL, is the owner of that book store across the street, BOOKS AND BIRDS. Real lefties, his sign said something about Bush and Cheney and how they were the axis of evil.

On one of the local news channels they showed a good picture of all the folks saying there about 150 there. Obviously there were more but they also showed a couple of sparsely attended pro Saddam rallies and the contrast was stark.

4 Fine people, they are just normal folk, here to support their familes in uniform, and our country.
