Maybe Helen's volunteered to be a Human Shield and is on her way to Bagdad. hehehe
To: Terriergal
No, but his eyes and demeanor certainly reminded me of the character from the movie. Also, his talk of diplomacy and Peace....
To: BureaucratusMaximus
He's right about a new world alignment, but not the way he's hoping.

She is not there. They just showed Terry Moran and the chair beside him is empty.

I do hope you know how much we appreciate Blair's backing in all of this. We will not forget it. And we will not forget what the French and Germans have done to us, either. I remember September 11th still, and I remember thinking that we were going to go through some rough times, but so long as America, Britain and Australia stuck together, we were going to be all right. And we will. And we've discovered some new friends along the way - Spain, Eastern Europe, Italy, Portugal, and Japan to name a few. We are going to get beyond this, and beyond dealing with Iran, and dealing with North Korea. It will get better. And those who sniped at the sidelines are going to be particularly damned by history.

I'm watching this press conference and a woman reporter, sorry I don't know her name nor do I care to, just asked Ari a question. The way she framed the question says it all. She asked do "you" have the authority under resolution 1441.......My point is is she an American or not...shouldn't the question be, do "We" have the right.......Amazing, absolutely amazing
To: tobesmom
Interesting. Probably at home worshipping at her Clinton alter.

I will say this much, every member of my family over the age of 30 wants Saddam dead immediately. "Never trust anyone over 30."

Uh Oh........Helen Thomas is sulking!!!!!! I'd totally forgotten what she sounds like until the other day when I was over at my parents house (they get Fox News via satellite). Crikey, no wonder she isn't called on, her voice is right up there with Barry Manilow music in terms of irritating noise.
