I disagree. We came up with this new resolution. We went to the UN in the first place. Now make those turkeys sign their names against all of humanity - hold them accountable for Saddam's atrocities and his incredible deceptions.
Then when we go in and find all the wmd he has - and I can assure, you based upon what I've read, he has stuff that will scare the pants off you, then wave it in the faces of Frenchie the Frog and that d*mn German and the Belgians and the Canadians and Blix and El Baradai - wave it all right under their noses and make them see what jackasses they are.
Lastly, just wait to see if you can even find the Frogs when we discover how much weapons technology/parts and biological lab set-up (oh sure, they claim it was for vaccine production - they are either incredibly naive or incredibly guilty) they've been involved in in Iraq.
I want them all on record of having gone against us. Every last one of them. Let History record the demise of the UN.

Straw was magnificent. I can take the OLEAGINOUS frenchman for a few seconds .He made no sense in his press conference.
Agree - he was all over the place and scrambling for something to say. Sounded like the moveon, anti- Iraqi liberation appeasers popping up lately.

Well were the son's of OBL captured or not?? Mansoor speaking now on FNC. Says it was a raid on a series of camps where the captured and killed were hiding. Combination of US and Pakistani intelligence. Very heavy gunfire, armaments that you normally don't see unless high level AQ operatives involved.
James Rosen pointed out that there are few people in that part of the world who would recognize OBL's sons.
Info released before authorities could confirm it.....happens all the time over there, Mansoor said.

Just like the soaps: half the characters have amnesia.

A weekend of solitude, Otta, how nice!
I get to do this uninterrupted occassionally, mostly while kids are in school or late at night. All other times, computer is taken over by dh and dks.

From the Telegraph:
Three-day warning, then war By Marcus Warren at the UN, Toby Harnden in Washington and George Jones (Filed: 07/03/2003)
Britain launched a final attempt last night to secure United Nations backing for a second resolution as President George W Bush declared that the world had entered the "last phase of diplomacy" over Iraq.
A new clause could give Baghdad as little as 72 hours to surrender its weapons of mass destruction before allied bombs begin to fall if Saddam failed to end the "wilful charade" of pretending he had nothing to hide.
