I don't really think the respirator is needed.

Just asking him questions and showing him selected images and text will reveal plenty of truth via the MRI. He has no defense against his brain waves registering whether he knows anything about this or that image; this or that idea or info presented in the text.

Someone else suggested nausea via sound waves whenever the interrogator was absent. Might be somewhat additionally useful but I think it's unnecessary.

I almost purchased an MRI ten years ago. The image part is just part of the process to me.
