[history]
With the capture of top al Qaeda terrorist Khalid Shaikh Mohammed (known as "KSM"), getting him to disgorge the contents of his brain quickly and truthfully is critically necessary before his network has a chance to vanish undercover.
What, then, would the most efficient and effective form of interrogation be? In 1995, the Philippine State Police captured an al Qaeda agent. They knew he was planning some terrorist act, but didn't know what. So they tortured him

After all useful information has been extracted from his brain, KSM should be informed that he will now be killed after his body is smeared with pig fat, that his dead body will be handled by women, and all other actions taken that prevent a Muslim from entering heaven upon death so that he dies believing he will never get the heavenly wine and virgins, but will burn in Hell instead. Upon his execution, there should be no physical remains. The body should be cremated and the ashes scattered to the winds. What's the point of that? Give him a job working with pigs and release the videos.

I am totally opposed to any punishment or execution without a fair trial. Other than that, the rest is very interesting.
To: CHICAGOFARMER
If it works, go for it. It's interesting though - Christians are taught that men can only take away your physical life and are unable to impact the afterlife at all.
Muslims actually believe that enemies can do things to your dead physical body that will impact the afterlife. I think this is their achilles heel, if we choose to exploit it.

I have long advocated variants of this , even before this article.
WE would also use regualar poly gear to further calibrate this.
In fact, this guy is an engineer, so I would advocate we teach him just how we can see when he is lying.
There is also technology that catches neurons firing in your brain 250ms after you see a picture or other evidence that you recognize.
We could calibrate this forensic methods by starting with the evidence captured with KSM and with pictures of Bin Al shib and Bin LAden.
Note that this is MORE HUMANE that sleep deprivation and akward positions etc.
By showing him that resistance is futile , he may cooperate.
We can also hold the carrot of educating his kids in a moslem school if he cooperates.

What's the point of that? Give him a job working with pigs and release the videos. Better yet, have him anally raped by some dirty, sloppy, male pig. Video tape this. Make sure you get visual evidence of his violation and of the pig's "deposit" within his body cavity(s). Distribute this tape.
Hey, I got it, have Ron Jeremy produce this thing, he can always be used as a double...

A little troubled by Jack's knowledge of the instruments of interrogation here, not exactly a comforting hobby. I would say that the suffocation thing prolly won't fly as it seems quite possible to either lose the subject or his brain cells in the process. Something Chinese and repetitive might be more safe, perhaps a Yoko Ono/Phillip Glass collaboration.

What is the point?
The point is to dis-credit this "image of power" in the minds of all his followers.
Want to stop sucide bombers who want to tank advange of Saddam payment of money to parents of sucide bombers.
Take the parents out. New or future bombers will think twice before they push the bottom. Then good people stop the blessing (money) to the families of sucide bombers the message will be sent. If you push the bomb button your family will suffer.

This is not punishment.
this is making someone give up information to save thousands of lives, perhaps yours??
Regarding the final journey of life. When you are are a warrior who kills innocent people, God has a place in for them. As Rummy says we are just going to help them get there quicker!!
To: Wright is right!
Re#5 Would seem so. I do find the articles on the art of interrogation to be fascinating. The consensus seems to be that physical pain is less effective than psychological methods with some discomfort. In any event, the playboy planner is probably dying for some sleep and relief and I would think that the best of the best questioners are getting good stuff by now. What a score he was...

Yes to change the minds of terrorists you either kill them or your make them think of their families and the live their act will bring too the family after they are gone.
Only two ways to stop terrorists, kill them, or strike fear in their minds. Since the second works only if your can impact thier gene pool after they are worm food.

Glad you're on our side - man would that be nasty. I'm still of the old world with sleep deprivation and maybe baboo shoots in strategic locations!

Quotes from the bible
Self-defense of your life & family is common sense from bad guys. Can you? What is your plan at home and on the street? What is your wifes plan? What is your daughters plan? When you see the robber or rapist knife, what words will your speak as the bad guys and you eyes met and wait for 911 police?
DID YOU KNOW??????
Swords, Rocks, Knives, and other self-protection methods as spoken and recorded in the new and old testament.
JESUS SAID IF YOU DONT HAVE A WEAPON SELL YOU SUIT AND BUY ONE. (Todays version)
Bible says responsibility and right to defend self, wives, daughters, sons, mothers, fathers, and property against bad guys. Jesus, Luke 22:36 30 He that hath no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. The sword was considered the finest weapon of its day. His Holiness Pope John Paul II Evangelism Vitae Encyclical Letter on the Value and Inviolability of Human Life March 25, 1995 46-page statement supports self defense and right to guns
Jesus said to disciples lay aside your sword; at last supper not lay down your sword. Peters sword was not to protect Jesus life, but to protect his own moral life. St Gabriel Possenti society says priest would be alive today if he had handgun. Priests in Houston want guns to protect parish. Baptist Minister Michael McCubbins clears the air on the bible view of the old/new testament. Bible says you are responsible for your self-defense.
Exodus 22:2-3 If the thief is found breaking in, and he is struck so that he dies, there shall be no guilt for his bloodshed. Gen. 9: 5-6. When Cain killed Abe, God did not ban or register rocks, but banished the murderer. God was smarter than our gun-grabbing politicians. Matthew 5, Individuals have the responsibility of protecting their lives and family from attackers.
Nowhere in the bible does God make any provision for dealing with the instruments of crime. He always focuses on the consequences for the individual and his actions. Timothy 5:8 But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever of God. PS 46:1 Jesus who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.
Num 31:3 Every man gird on his sword, So every man girded on his sword and David also girded on his sword. 1 Sam. 25:13 National defense in bible. 2 Chronicles 17 1:10, and the fear of the Lord fell on all kingdoms around Judah, so that they did not make war. Neh. 4:17-18 Gates and walls of Jerusalem were built with one hand on his weapon, and one hand worked.
Romans 13:4 God says if you do evil be afraid. Also: As you live by the sword so shall you die by the sword. God says in the sixth commandment Thou shall not murder. Matthew 26:52-54 Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword.

Wow... i think thats the best quasi-torture method I've ever heard of. Just thinking about it makes me wish I had something to confess, just so I never had to go thru it.
